Content Rights. In all cases, you agree to permit SonderMind to deliver these updates to you (and you to receive them) as part of your use of the service.

The SonderMind service is available worldwide. If you use the service, you acknowledge that you may be sending electronic communications (including your personal account information and content), through computer networks owned by SonderMind and third parties in the United States and other countries. As a result, your use of the service will likely result in interstate transmissions, and your use of the service shall constitute your consent to permit such transmissions.

Does SonderMind Serve Ads?

No. That said, there is a “Tools” section that includes classifieds where users can post things for sale and lease as well as applicable services they offer.

Do you provide User Guidelines?

Yes, funny you should ask as below are the Community Guidelines. We include them here in the Terms of Service because we consider a violation of our Community Guidelines to be very a violation of this agreement and grounds for removing someone from the community.

SonderMind Community Guidelines

It’s a community of mental health professionals, educators, and lifelong students. We’re all searching for ways to improve healthcare, and now we can do it together. Dive deep into SonderMind’s hottest topics, learn best practices, see the amazing work our community is doing, and join the conversation.

SonderMind Community accounts are intended for users to put collaboration at the heart of healthcare by connecting the people, resources, and systems that fuel successful therapy. These Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a member of SonderMind. Don’t forget that your use of SonderMind is subject to these Community Guidelines as part of our larger Terms of Service:

Things to do - Play nice. - We’re a global community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe, or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members. - Only upload content that you have created or, if you share someone else’s content, make sure you have their permission and give credit to their hard work. In case the above isn’t clear enough, respect the copyright of others. This means don’t steal photos or videos that other people have shared and pass them off as your own. - Moderate your content. - All content on SonderMind, public and private, has to be appropriately moderated.. If your judgment proves to be poor, we’ll moderate your account for you and send you a warning. - Invite only licensed professionals to the community. - SonderMind makes it possible to post content, but we expect you to post content that is applicable to the community as opposed to off-topic. - Flag inappropriate content. Any user has the ability to flag content that violates the standards of professionalism set by SonderMind. Flagged content to discuss the appropriate course of action. In the meantime, while in review said content will be removed from view to prevent possibly offensive material from causing disturbances while the review process takes place. Administrators also have the ability to delete content that they, in their sole digression, deem inappropriate. - This is your community - enjoy it!

Things NOT to do - Here’s the deal: We like to give second chances. However, when we discover you stepping across any of the lines listed below, we will take action, which may mean deleting your account with or without warning. - Don’t vent your frustrations, rant, or bore the brains out of other members. - SonderMind is not a venue for you to harass, abuse, spam, impersonate, or intimidate others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we’ll send you a warning or delete your account. - Don’t be creepy. - You know the person. Don’t be that person. - Don’t use SonderMind for unauthorized commercial activity. - To be clear, that means no spamming, selling or otherwise contacting users with descriptions, advertisements or offers related to your product or service. There are specific tabs in the classified sections for this kind of advertising for goods and services. - If you violate this there will be no warnings - you will just be banned. - If you would hesitate to show your content - words, photos or videos to a child, your family, or a stranger on the street - that means it’s probably not appropriate for the public side of our community. There are some edge cases where a private, closed group may be discussing a topic applicable to the group and that violates this rule, but we expect you to think about it and make that determination using commons sense. If you don’t, your account will be moderated and possibly deleted by SonderMind staff. - Don’t show nudity in your buddy icon or cover photo. - Only content considered “safe” is appropriate for your icon or cover photo. If we find either contains inappropriate content, we’ll remove it, mark your account as “restricted” and send you a warning. If we find you doing it again, we’ll delete your account. - Don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited. If we find you doing that, your account will be deleted and we’ll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities. - Don’t use your account to host web graphics or as a replacement for a content distribution network. - If we find you using your account to host generic graphic elements of web page designs, logos, banners, icons, and other non-photographic elements on other web sites, or if you show suspicious upload behavior that impacts the stability of our servers, we will warn you or delete your account. - SonderMind Community is an extensive healthcare professional network, users can connect over common issues, share best practices, and alleviate feelings of isolation. If you engage in commercial activity elsewhere on the Internet or in the real world, you’re still welcome on SonderMind, as long as you are a SonderMind member in good standing. All other unauthorized commercial activity is prohibited. We don’t tolerate spam, deceptive tagging or other abusive means to generate revenue and traffic.

In Conclusion If you don’t feel that you can abide by our Community Guidelines as outlined above, maybe SonderMind isn’t for you. We’ve crafted these guidelines to ensure that everyone within the SonderMind community has a good time.
